Regular Classes
Customised to the individual participant, this practical class takes you through a series of handbuilding, throwing and glazing techniques to build your confidence in working with clay and developing your own style. You will be able to create a variety of works with this flexible medium.
* Throwing is an advanced technique and recommended only for students who have prior experience with hand-building and glazing. If you are a beginner we recommend taking a set of 8 hand-building sessions with us to get your basics(and realise hand-building’s artistic potential) right first!

- Suitable for: adults at all levels or teens above 12 years of age.
- Duration: 2.5 hours per session

Weekly workshops:
8 sessions — $430.00 ($350 + $80 materials & firing fee).
Hand-building/Throwing:
Saturdays — 10:30am–1:00pm/ 2.30pm-5.00pm
Wednesdays — 6.30pm-9.00pm

^A large variety of imported and in-house createdclay and glazes are available in this studio for your exploration! Students make works of varied size and quantity, therefore classes include a materials & firing fee, that is deducted based on the size and quantity of the works you wish to keep- The cost for example for clay, glazes and 2 firings of a mug sized item costs ~$9.00.
^Please bring a set of your own ceramics tools or purchase a set directly from our studio (~$15).
